Katy Perry Doesn't Win NRJ Award

Katy Perry won — and then promptly lost — an NRJ Music Award in Cannes, France on Saturday.
Perry's name was called when the show's hosts handed out the award for best international song, but she probably should have noticed something was off since Rihanna's "Disturbia" was playing when she headed to the podium to collect the award for "I Kissed A Girl." That's because Perry hadn't actually won.
Host Nikos Aliagas said at the end of the show that there'd been a mistake in the vote counting and Rihanna had actually won instead of Perry.
Perry claimed the best international album award for last year's One Of The Boys — and no one took it away.
Perry apparently doesn't have to worry about Lily Allen putting her phone number on Facebook anytime soon, either.
Allen said in an interview with MTV UK that there wasn't any feud between her and Perry and "there's actually nothing going on."
Perry had earlier called herself "a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinnier version of Lily Allen." Allen fired back by saying the singer had stolen her image.
Perry later said she hadn't meant anything by the comment and was just joking. But Allen threatened to divulge Perry's phone number on her Facebook account earlier this month.
We guess this eliminates the possibility of that cat fight we predicted. Bummer.
Here's Perry accepting the award for best international album (when she thought France loved her as much as Jerry Lewis):
