See Oasis' New York Documentary Online

An 18-minute documentary featuring Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell teaching New York City street musicians how to play songs from last year's Dig Out Your Soul album before it came out was posted on the band's MySpace page and the MySpace Music page on Wednesday.

The black-and-white footage was shot last September by The Malloys, who've directed numerous White Stripes videos. They chose street musicians from all parts of the city who had a variety of ethnic, musical and creative backgrounds. The musicians rehearsed and then performed the previously unheard new songs at locations throughout the Big Apple, including subway platforms at the Grand Central, Times Square, Penn Station and Astor Place stations.
