Gene Simmons To Speak At CMW

Gene Simmons will have another opportunity to scope out Canadian talent for his relaunched record label in March.

The long-tongued KISS bassist, entrepreneur and reality television show star will be the keynote speaker at Canadian Music Week. You'll be able to hear him talk about his varied career, including the revival of Simmons Records, at 11 a.m. on March 12 at Toronto's Fairmont Royal York Hotel.

A limited number of tickets to see Shannon Tweed's husband will go on sale on Monday at Toronto record stores Rotate This and SoundScapes, as well as the CMW website.

CMW runs from March 11 to 14 and includes a conference, trade show, award shows and a three-night music festival.
