Sting And Feist Show Musical Brains

You'll be able to get a glimpse into the minds of Feist, Sting, Wyclef Jean and Michael Buble when CTV airs The Musical Brain on Jan. 31.

The one-hour documentary is based on Dr. Daniel Levitin's book, This Is Your Brain On Music: The Science Of A Human Obsession. It features Sting having his brain scanned while listening to different types of music to find out how he responds and what that says about him.

"Music is a gateway to emotion and memory, pleasure and intellectual stimulation throughout our lives," writer and director Christina Pochmursky says. "The Musical Brain follows Sting on his journey of discovery into his own musical brain, and also explores how music can define each stage of our lives."

Feist, Jean and Buble discuss how music has affected their lives.

The Musical Brain was created by Pochmursky and Vanessa Dylyn. This Is Your Brain On Music was originally published in 2006.
