New My Morning Jacket EP Available

My Morning Jacket's iTunes Live From Las Vegas At The Palms digital live EP went on sale exclusively on iTunes on Tuesday.
The EP was recorded at Las Vegas' The Palms casino and features new versions of some of the band's old songs, including the rarely performed "Tonight I Want To Celebrate With You," which was originally included on the band's 1999 debut album, The Tennessee Fire. iTunes Live From Las Vegas At The Palms was produced by My Morning Jacket singer/guitarist Jim James, engineered by Ryan Pickett and mixed by Rick Kwan. The EP is part of iTunes' new series in which musicians record sessions at the casino for exclusive live EPs.
"The purpose of this EP is to provide the listener with a sensual and deeply personal method for relaxational listening," James says. "It is to be enjoyed on a candle-lit bench, a secluded nook, or a sensuous dinner party.
"Under the careful guidance and watchful eye of Ryan Pickett, we have developed a highly pleasing method of subtle sensation! Who knows how deep thine gentle touch?"
Are we sure that James didn't suffer some head trauma after that fall he had?
