Gentleman Reg will release his Arts & Crafts debut, the long-awaited Jet Black, on Feb. 24.

The 11-track album is the man born Reg Vermue's first album since 2004's Darby & Joan. It was recorded by producer Dave Draves (Kathleen Edwards, Howe Gelb) at his Little Bullhorn Studio in Ottawa and features guest appearances from the Constantines' Bry Webb, Land Of Talk's Liz Powell, former Organ singer Katie Sketch and Great Lake Swimmers and Hylozoists drummer Greg Millson. You can hear "You Can't Get It Back" and "We're In A Thunderstorm" at Reg's MySpace page.

Reg released his The Theoretical Girl debut in 2000 and followed it with Make Me Pretty two years later. He released the U.S.-only Little Buildings, which included tracks from his previous albums, last year. He has also appeared in films like Shortbus and guested on the Queer As Folk television series.
