Bat For Lashes' Natasha Khan will follow in Beyonce and her Sasha Fierce alter-ego's footsteps when she reveals another side to herself as "destructive, self-absorbed, blonde, femme fatale" Pearl on Two Suns.
Bat For Lashes' follow-up to the 2007 Mercury Music Prize-nominated Fur And Gold will be released by Astralwerks on April 6. It was recorded in studios in New York City, California's Joshua Tree Desert and London, England by Khan and co-producer Dave Kosten, who also worked on Fur And Gold.
Blue Dreams act as Khan's backing band on the album, which includes autoharps, electronics and strings in addition to more traditional rock instruments. Brooklyn, N.Y. psych rock group Yeasayer contributed bass and programming to the disc, while '60s vocalist Scott Walker returns to sing on the album-closing "The Big Sleep."
Bat For Lashes touring band member Caroline Weeks is also set to release an album. Her Songs For Edna solo debut EP, which takes its lyrics from poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, will be released on March 17 via Manimal Vinyl.

"Glass"
"Sleep Alone"
"Moon And Moon"
