You can hear "The Sun Never Shines," the closing track to The Deep Dark Woods' upcoming Winter Hours album, for free as this week's CHARTtrack.

The band's third album will be released on Feb. 17 through Black Hen. The 12-track effort was recorded by Juno Award-winning producer and musician Steve Dawson at his Factory Studios in Vancouver. You can hear "All The Money I Had Is Gone," "As I Roved Out" and "Nancy" on The Deep Dark Woods MySpace page.

The Deep Dark Woods formed in Saskatoon in 2005. Their lineup consists of vocalists/guitarists Ryan Boldt and Burke Barlow, bassist/vocalist Chris Mason and drummer/vocalist Lucas Goetz. Their self-titled debut was released in 2006 and was followed by Hang Me, Oh Hang Me a year later.
