CMW Festival Performers Revealed

Canadian Music Week has announced the confirmed lineup for the March 12 to 14 festival that will feature 500 artists at 45 Toronto venues.

Among the Canadians confirmed for the fest include: Age Of Daze, Angela Desveaux & The Mighty Ship, Anvil, Arkells, Basia Bulat, Black Diamond Bay, Brian Borcherdt, Chad VanGaalen, Crash Parallel, Cuff The Duke, Empire Isis, Gentleman Reg, Ghost Bees, Grand Analog, Hexes & Ohs, Hey Rosetta!, Human Highway, Inward Eye, Jenn Grant, Jon-Rae Fletcher, Leeroy Stagger, Library Voices, Malajube, Matt Mays & El Torpedo, Melissa McClelland, Modernboys Moderngirls, One Second 2 Late, Radio Radio, Rebekah Higgs, SNFU, Spiral Beach, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Vancougar and Young Galaxy.

Acts from around the world will also converge on Ontario's capital, including: England's Bloc Party, The Ting Tings and Hey Negrita; Sweden's Ane Brun; France's Herman Dune; Bermuda's Mishka; Ireland's Fred; Scotland's The Hazey Janes; Spain's We Are Balboa; Japan's OK City OK; Australia's The Morning After Girls; Finland's The Latebirds; Denmark's A Kid Hereafter; Brazil's Black Drawing Chalks; the Netherlands' Lucky Fonz III; Nigeria's Beautiful Nubia; Iran's Tarantist; Barbados' Tejay; Northern Ireland's Skibunny; Switzerland's Deeptrip; Romania's Dekadens; Turkey's Konquistador; Israel's Noa Babayof; Latvia's The Sound Poets; Norway's Don Juan Dracula; India's Prestorika; Iceland's Sprengjuhollin; Portugal's The Gift; New Zealand's The Bleeders; China's The Honeys; South Africa's Parlotones; and Bleeding Through, Stevie Salas and The Supersuckers from the U.S.

More artists will be added to the lineup and a schedule still has to be put together.
