Mother Mother Open For Sam Roberts

Mother Mother will be Sam Roberts' opening act when he and his band head south on an American tour next month.

Singer/guitarist Ryan Guldemond, singer Molly Guldemond, bassist Jeremy Page and drummer Ali Siadat will play shows with Roberts until the beginning of March, when Roberts heads to Austin, Texas to play the South By Southwest Music Festival.

Mother Mother parted ways with vocalist Debra-Jean Creelman last month. The band said they wanted to find a replacement for her, but would continue as a four-piece for the time being. It's not known whether Mother Mother will be a quartet or quintet when they head out with Roberts.

Mother Mother will play Cumberland, B.C.'s The Waverly on Feb. 6 and Victoria's Sugar Nightclub the next night before embarking on this tour with the Sam Roberts Band:
