Hi all. We've had some bad math and had to amend these rankings. Somehow we forgot Wolf Parade — they ended up second. This bumps Guns N' Roses to 21st. Sorry about that. (Compilers' Note: identical rankings represent ties.)
Every year, CHARTattack contributors geek out and figure out mathematically what our favourite album was. Everyone submits a top 10 or top five list (you can see everyone's individual lists here), which gets weighted 10 points for first, 9 for second, etc. We add 'em all up and BAM... the winner is revealed.
Here then, are the CHARTattack staff members and contributors' 20 favourite albums of the year, with a link to the related review we wrote about it.
