Slipknot Hate Coldplay

Here's something that probably shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone: Slipknot's Corey Taylor hates Coldplay.

Taylor launched into an expletive-riddled rant about Coldplay's Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends on Zane Lowe's year-end show on Britain's MTV2 after he was asked for his opinion on the album.

"That is one of the most self-celebratory pieces of shit I've ever fucking heard in my entire fucking life," Taylor said, according to U.K. tabloid The Sun.

"Go suck a fucking dick. Are you watching, Martin? Suck it. Go eat a bag of shit. I fucking hate that album. It's music to wipe your ass to."

We wonder if this silly comment will prompt another Coldplay "break-up," just like Joe Satriani's plagiarism lawsuit did earlier this month.

Slipknot will tour across the U.S. throughout the first few months of 2009 in support of All Hope Is Gone.

Coldplay will head to Japan and Australia in February and March before taking a break until August, when they'll play shows throughout Europe — unless they break up first, of course.
