Carolyn Mark, NQ Arbuckle's Joint Record

Victoria alt.country songstress Carolyn Mark and Toronto alt.country drinking force NQ Arbuckle will release a collaborative album titled Let's Just Stay Here through Mint Records sometime next summer.
The album doesn't have a definite track list yet. It was born from Mark's longtime friendship with NQ Arbuckle frontman Neville Quinlan and includes six songs written by Mark and six written by Quinlan, according to Ottawa XPress.
J. Eliot recorded Let's Just Stay Here at Toronto's Lincoln Social Club. It features contributions from Toronto bluegrass singer/songwriter Jenny Whitely, Edmonton alt.country artist Corb Lund, Hank Pine and Lily Fawn and others.
Mark and NQ Arbuckle just finished a tour as co-openers for Lund. You can see NQ Arbuckle play their final shows of 2008 at St. Catharines, Ont.'s Merchant Ale House on Friday and on New Year's Eve at Toronto's Lee's Palace with Elliott Brood. Mark will play The Black Sheep Inn in Wakefield, Que. on April 21.
