Chad VanGaalen Wins Two Bucky Awards

Chad VanGaalen

Chad VanGaalen is the only artist to receive two CBC Radio 3 Bucky Awards this year.

The Calgary singer, songwriter, musician and producer won the future classic award for "Willow Tree" and best advice from an artist for “Making Music From Junk.”

Fans voted for their favourites in November in all categories but two. Teenage Head won the lifetime achievement award after losing singer Frankie Venom to throat cancer in October. The top fan prize went to videographer Colin Medley.
