Saint Alvia (formerly known as The Saint Alvia Cartel) will finish 2008 by playing two Toronto shows.
Singer/guitarist Greg Taylor, singer Ben Rispin, bassist Greg Fisher, guitarist Rob Pasalic, drummer Matt Richmond and keyboardist Brandon Bliss will play Toronto's Opera House with IllScarlett on Dec. 19 before counting down to 2009 at the Bovine Sex Club on New Year's Eve with The Organ Thieves. The shows are in support of this year's Between The Lines.
It's been a big year for the lads in Saint Alvia. They were Chart's September cover stars and travelled to Japan in October to play shows in support of Between The Lines.
Saint Alvia also played their second annual Burly Calling shows in their hometown of Burlington, Ont. at the beginning of December. The shows also featured Dark Pearl, The Barettas, The Grave, Ashley Sloggett, The Creepshow's Sarah Blackwood and Chuut Coles.
