Calexico Go Live For New DVD

Calexico will release their second live DVD, Live From Austin TX, on Jan. 20 through New West Records.
The 15-track disc features songs from the band's Sept. 13, 2006 performance on the Austin City Limits television show. It includes tracks from that year's Garden Ruin, 2003's Feast Of Wire, 2000's Hot Rail and 1998's The Black Light. Calexico are joined by Tucson, Ariz. singer/songwriter Salvador Duran on "Roka," "Guero Canelo" and "He Lays In The Reins," which also features Iron And Wine's Sam and Sarah Beam.
Calexico released their sixth album, Carried To Dust, earlier this year. They'll head to Europe to support it in January and February.
Singer/guitarist Joey Burns and drummer John Convertino are Calexico's two mainstays. The band also include steel guitarist Paul Niehaus, bassist Volker Zander and multi-instrumentalists Jacob Valenzuela and Martin Wenk.
