Arts & Crafts Signs Bell Orchestre

Montreal instrumental rockers Bell Orchestre have signed with Arts & Crafts and will release their next album on their new label next year.
The as-yet-untitled album is the follow-up to 2005's Recording A Tape The Colour Of Light debut, which garnered a best instrumental album Juno Award nomination in 2006.
The three-year-old group will spend much of next year on the road after releasing their sophomore disc.
Bell Orchestre consists of steel guitarist Mike Feuerstack, bassist Richard Reed Parry, violinist Sarah Neufeld, french horn player Pietro Amato, trumpeter Kaveh Nabatian and drummer Stefan Schneider. Feuerstack also performs solo as Snailhouse, while Parry and Neufeld are members of Arcade Fire. Schneider and Amato are in The Luyas, while Amato is a member of Torngat and occasionally plays with Arcade Fire.
Bell Orchestre have these dates lined up:
Feb. 7 Guelph, ON @ Sleeman Centre (Hillside Inside 2009)
Feb. 19 Vancouver, BC @ Commodore Ballroom w/Beast and The Besnard Lakes
Feb. 26 Brooklyn, NY @ Brooklyn Academy Of Music
