More details about Neil Young's long-delayed The Archives Vol. 1 1963-1972 box set have emerged.
According to Uncut.co.uk, a new trailer indicates that the box set, which will be available as a 10-disc DVD or Blu-Ray package, will feature 128 tracks. Forty-three of those songs are unreleased and 13 have never been heard by the public. It will also include the 1974 film Journey Through The Past, which has never been released on DVD.
Archival albums Live At The Fillmore East (2006) and Live At Massey Hall 1971 (2007) will be included. But it's not likely that Sugar Mountain: Live At Canterbury House 1968, which came out on Nov. 25, will be.
The Archives will come with handwritten lyrics, newspaper clippings, letters, a timeline and a 236-page hardcover book, which Uncut.co.uk says will "feature access to thousands of images and hours of video."
