Mother Mother Lose Part Of Family

Mother Mother might be stuck at the top of our chart for another week, but things are a little less constant within the band. The Vancouver quintet have announced they're now a quartet.
"We would like to announce that Mother Mother and Debra-Jean Creelman have decided to part ways," the band wrote in a Dec. 3 MySpace blog post. "It is in the best interest for both parties to move forward in pursuit of their different paths.
"We wish Deb all of the best in her future endeavours; she is a very talented lady and her contribution to our sound and our style since the band's beginnings has been greatly appreciated."
Rest assured that the remaining members — singer/guitarist Ryan Guldemond, singer Molly Guldemond, bassist Jeremy Page and drummer Ali Siadat — will continue on as Mother Mother, and they have every intention of finding Creelman's replacement in the "not too distant future."
Mother Mother were originally called Mother when the two Guldemond siblings and Creelman formed the band in 2005 and independently released their Mother debut. They doubled their name and re-released the Mother songs along with several new tracks on Touch Up. Page and Siadat were later welcomed to the fold.
Their sophomore effort, All My Heart, was released in September.
