Fleetwood Mac Unleashed On Tour

It's no rumour: drummer Mick Fleetwood, guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, singer Stevie Nicks and bassist John McVie will revise their hits on Fleetwood Mac's Unleashed Tour in March. Christine McVie, who left the band in 1998, hasn't signed on.

Twelve U.S. and three Canadian concerts have been announced, but more shows are expected to be added. Tickets for shows in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa go on sale on Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. through Live Nation, and tickets for the Toronto show will also be on sale at the same time through Ticketmaster.

Reprise Records will reissue Fleetwood Mac's classic Rumours album with previously unreleased material recorded around same the time of the original album and never-before-seen video footage of the group in a special CD/DVD package to coincide with the tour. Rumours has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide since it was released in 1977.

In July, Buckingham told Billboard that Fleetwood Mac will prepare for a new album while on tour.

"There was no sense we had to jump right in the studio," he said. "I think maybe there was even a sense that we would make a better album if we went out and hung out together first on the road... maybe even sowing some seeds musically that would get us more prepared to go in the studio rather than just going in cold."
