Mobile Win Fight With MySpace

All is now right in the virtual MySpace world of Mobile.
MySpace booted the Montreal band from its URL (www.myspace.com/mobile) last month because it was apparently too similar to the web address for MySpace Mobile, the company's new cellphone service.
But it seems that all Mobile's manager's cussin' about how MySpace "click-fucked" the band out of their URL has somehow stirred things up in the appropriate channels.
"Myspace returned our original URL to us last night," wrote the band in a Dec. 2 MySpace blog post. "We're thankful to whoever stepped in at Myspace to sort this out. They can do what they want on this site, so its good to know they're willing to right wrongs."
The band also posted MySpace's official statement: "MySpace has reinstated the registered URL www.myspace.com/mobile to the band--this was an error on our part and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. The band's profile has not been altered in any way."
Score one for the little guy.
