Sam Roberts Tour Update

Does anyone remember when Sam Roberts said he was playing in Prince George, B.C.? Well, he lied. Roberts won’t be seeing the skyline of the city anytime soon. The Sam Roberts Band announced the cancellation of their Jan. 14 show in this website message:

"We've had to pull the show in Prince George in January on the 14th. Our sincerest apologies to those of you who have already purchased tickets, they will be 100% refunded at point of purchase. We will regroup and find another way to get ourselves up there, until then.... our sincerest thanks and apologies."

Roberts added a date in Regina and a second show in Ottawa. Tickets for the latter go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
