"I had some difficulty getting Jeff Martin's new CD. He has put together a new band called The Armada with Irish drummer Wayne Sheehy.

"Their self-titled album was released through Martin's own record company, Kingdom Records, so it's only available for order on the label's website or for purchase on his Australian tour. Since it was slightly more expensive to go to Australia, I bought it off the site. The CD was shipped from Ireland, Martin's home now, so it cost me 18.15 Euros. My credit card bill told me that's almost $40 Canadian.

"The Nov. 4 release date came and went without me seeing my CD. Two weeks went by before the album arrived, which meant I stayed cooped up in my room all day, every day, for two weeks repeatedly listening to 'Invocation,' the one new song Martin put up on his MySpace page. It was no Tea Party, but it was all worth it when the CD finally arrived. There are only 10,000 copies being sold worldwide, so you better hurry up and order your copy now!"

"Mandy:

"I'm glad you enjoyed The Armada. And thanks for the tip about the album's limited availability, but I have much better things to do with $40 and won't be ordering a copy. Now please go out and get a friggin' life."
