Hey Rosetta! Head Down Under

Hey Rosetta! will play two shows in their hometown of St. John's, Nfld. in December before they head Down Under.

The band will play The Rockhouse with Gramercy Riffs on Dec. 18 and 19. The dates will be their last in Canada in 2008, as they'll head to Australia 10 days later to play festivals and gigs.

All the shows are in support of this year's Into Your Lungs (And Around In Your Heart And Through Your Blood), which garnered an XM Verge Music Award. Frontmant Tim Baker joked during this video interview that the entire $25,000 prize money would go towards funding the band's trip.

Baker, guitarist Adam Hogan, bassist Josh Ward, drummer Phil Maloney, violinist Kinley Dowling and cellist Romesh Thavanathan will play these dates:
