Land Of Talk Get New Bassist

Land Of Talk have parted ways with bassist Chris McCarron and welcomed Joe Yarmush to the fold.
McCarron recently left Land Of Talk to play guitar with The Dears. Yarmush also plays keyboards and guitar with Montreal's Kill The Lights.
"He's absolutely rad," the band wrote in a recent MySpace blog entry about Yarmush. "[Chris] will still moonlight with us now and then.
"The blood between us all is good. That was the overly complicated/cryptic way of saying that we're all still good friends."
This isn't the first lineup shuffle for Land Of Talk. The band originally featured singer/guitarist Elizabeth Powell, McCarron and drummer Bucky Wheaton. Wheaton left in May 2007 and was replaced by Eric Thibodeau, who in turn left earlier this year. The Slip's Andrew Barr filled in on drums on the band's Some Are Lakes full-length debut that was released in October.
Land Of Talk's Applause Cheer Boo Hiss EP came out in 2006.
You can see Yarmush introduce Powell's "virtuosic guitar playing" in this blooper clip for "Some Are Lakes":
