Amy Winehouse's Marriage Over?

After months of speculation that their marriage would end, Amy Winehouse has reportedly told British tabloid News Of The World that she's going to split with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.

Winehouse told the tabloid that Fielder-Civil, who was recently released from prison, had left her for German model Sophie Schandorff.

"It's over. There's no way back for us now. It was never going to last. We were only together for sex.

"I fancied him like mad, like no one else I've ever known. But it's not enough, is it?"

The tabloid also reports that Winehouse recently shocked her friends by admitting to them that she's had sex with women and that she and Fielder-Civil would regularly bring other people into the bedroom.

The couple have been married for 17 months. Winehouse's parents strongly dislike Fielder-Civil and blame him for turning their daughter on to hard drugs.

Winehouse hasn't visited Fielder-Civil since he left jail. She also said she wouldn't foot the bill for her husband's rehab expenses, which are expected to cost up to 30,000 British pounds (about $56,000 Canadian). Her recent comments come despite the fact that she recently told a paparazzo (who interviewed her through her apartment buzz box) that she loves Fielder-Civil and they weren't splitting up. Fielder-Civil lost an appeal of his jail sentence on Monday. He was sentenced to a 27-month prison term after he pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice. Fielder-Civil admitted he attacked London, England pub landlord James King in June 2006 and tried to convince King not to testify against him by offering a bribe of 200,000 British pounds.

Fielder-Civil was released from jail on Nov. 5 on the condition that he stay at a drug rehab centre.

Meanwhile, a sculpture on display at a New York City art gallery features a dead and bloody Winehouse. The work,, titled The Only Good Rock Star Is A Dead Rock Star, also features a sculpture of writer William S. Burroughs holding a rifle. It's a quasi-re-enactment of Burroughs accidentally shooting and killing his common-law wife, Joan Vollmer, while attempting a William Tell-like stunt in 1951.
