The Raconteurs will digitally release a new bluegrass-inspired version of Consolers Of The Lonely track "Old Enough" through Amazon.com on Dec. 2.
The song, which features guest contributions from country artists Ricky Skaggs and Ashley Monroe, will be available through other digital retailers and as a CD single a week later. A seven-inch vinyl version will be issued on Dec. 16.
The B-side is a bluegrass version of another album cut, "Top Yourself."
A video for "Old Enough," which was shot by director/photographer Autumn De Wilde (Elliott Smith, Spoon), will premiere on music.yahoo.com on Dec. 2. Photos from the shoot can be seen on The Raconteurs' website.
The Raconteurs are singers/guitarists/keyboardists Brendan Benson and Jack White, bassist Jack Lawrence and drummer Patrick Keeler. Their Broken Boy Soldiers debut came out in 2006 and Consolers Of The Lonely followed this past March.
