Arkells To Play Vanier Cup Halftime Show

Arkells will extend their Hamilton pride to university football on Saturday when they play a halftime set at the Vanier Cup.

Hamilton's Ivor Wynne Stadium will host the Canadian championship game between the Western Ontario Mustangs and the undefeated Laval Rouge-Et-Or at 2 p.m. If you can't be there in person, you can tune in to The Score to watch Arkells perform at halftime.

Arkells have shot a video for "Oh, The Boss Is Coming!," the first single from their recently released Jackson Square album. The WHIMIS-minded video makes us think that ChartAttack's Scott Bryson was right about the bet he made when he reviewed the disc. You can see the video below.

Arkells play Montreal's Musee Juste Pour Rire as part of M For Montreal on Friday night and will play the Thank God It's Not Another X-Mas Party free show with Dine Alone labelmates Moneen on Dec. 10 at Toronto's Tattoo Rock Parlour.
