Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz welcomed their first child, a boy they've named Bronx Mowgli Wentz, into the world on Thursday at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Little Bronx apparently weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz.

"Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!" a spokesperson told People magazine.

Yes, the baby has New York and The Jungle Book to thank for his name. The couple are apparently a bit unhealthily obsessed with Disney movies. People magazine reports that they had a Winnie The Pooh-themed baby shower, and their wedding had an Alice In Wonderland theme.

Simpson-Wentz said earlier this year that she wants a big family. Who wants to take bets on the next baby's name? The possibilities are endless: Napoleon, Frou Frou, Chip, Gaston, Duckworth, Dumbo, Quasimodo, Pumbaa, Tramp, Maleficent, Dopey, Merlin... we really could go on and on.

Wentz recently told Ryan Seacrest that he wasn't too eager to give the baby a crazy celebrity name.

"I want to meet the baby first. My friend said it — you've gotta have a baby with a name that could be a rock star or a senator, so he'll get work either way."

People also reports that Wentz has been asking Good Charlotte's Joel Madden for advice on fatherhood. Madden and girlfriend Nicole Richie had a baby named Harlow about nine months ago. We're thinking Wentz shouldn't be asking a member of Good Charlotte for fathering advice... or tips on long-term releationships with Paris Hilton.

Fall Out Boy's U.S. election-dodging new album, Folie A Deux, is out on Dec. 16.
