Lightning Dust Are Recording

When they're not playing with the Polaris Music Prize-nominated Black Mountain or Pink Mountaintops, Amber Webber and Joshua Wells record and perform as the folky Lightning Dust.
They're set to begin recording the follow-up to last year's self-titled debut, which should be out sometime next year through Jagjaguwar.
"After a busy year, we are gong back to the studio in November to begin recording the songs which have been accumulating at the backs of our heads," the band wrote
in an Oct. 16 MySpace blog entry. "That shit's gettin' heavy!"
Lightning Dust have posted a demo of a new song called "Antonia Jane" on their MySpace page.
Lightning Dust will perform on Dec. 12 at Vancouver's Richard's On Richards with The Cave Singers. That gig is sandwiched between shows in Seattle, Wash. and Portland, Ore. the night before and after.
