Rockers Seek Immortality In Suck

Henry Rollins, Iggy Pop, Moby, Alice Cooper and Rough Trade frontwoman Carole Pope have been cast in a vampire comedy flick called Suck.
The film was written and will be directed by Canadian Rob Stefaniuk (Phil The Alien), who will also appear on celluloid along with Jessica Pare, Malcolm McDowell and Dave Foley. The movie, which is apparently about a character named Eddie Van Helsing who hunts down members of a rock band who will do anything to become famous, is scheduled to start shooting later this month.
With the way Iggy's body still looks ripped today, after everything he's subjected it to over the past 40 years, I wouldn't be surprised if he was immortal, so his casting in a vampire movie seems appropriate. And while Suck may earn one per cent of what Twilight does at the box office, just its casting makes it cooler in my book.
Let's just hope that the film's quality doesn't live down to its name.
