It's barely mid-November, yet Beyonce has already started compiling her wish list for Santa.
First on the list: Wonder Woman. The singer recently told the Los Angeles Times newspaper that she'd be a great choice for the role.
Next up: Glastonbury. Beyonce must be jealous of the hotly contested set that her hubby Jay-Z played at the music festival last summer, because now she has her sights set on a Glastonbury 2009 slot.
"It would be really amazing... I would love to do it," she told Sky News.
"I thought it was brilliant. Jay had all the controversy — but he came out and he did good. I was there to experience the energy; it was like something I have never experienced before."
But Beyonce was apparently upset that she couldn't get down and dirty.
"I had my wellies and I got my outfit organized, but it didn't rain and I wanted the mud!"
Her next wish: Obama. Beyonce wants to perform at U.S. president-elect Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony in January.
"If Obama wants it to happen, then I would love to do it... As a matter of fact, I can't wait," she told U.K.'s The Daily Mirror tabloid. "All of us are prepared to do what we have to do."
Wait a minute, did she just go from speaking in hypothetical terms to actually making something true, all within a couple of sentences? The power that woman must have!
It sounds to us as though Bey is dropping hints left, right and centre to establish a successful run in the year ahead for her third solo album, I Am... Sasha Fierce, which drops on Nov. 18. Or maybe she's just blathering on about whatever she can for shameless self-promotion a la Noel Gallagher.
But we personally think that a public display of her Dreamgirls would be a much better tactic at securing her notoriety in the next year.
