Justin Rutledge Is Shrinking

Justin Rutledge will end his current Canadian tour with five shows in his hometown of Toronto that will get progressively smaller.
Rutledge will tour the country with Jenn Grant and then return to Toronto at the end of this month for something he's dubbed the Incredible Shrinking Tour.
Rutledge will start at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern, which has a capacity of 350 people, on Nov. 28. He'll play Hugh's Room (capacity of 200) the next night, followed by a gig at The Dakota Tavern (capacity of about 150) on Nov. 30. He'll play The Cameron House (capacity of 60) on Dec. 1, and will end the jaunt on Dec. 2 at Not My Dog, a bar in Rutledge's Parkdale neighbourhood that we think has a capacity of 30 people.
Rutledge will have various openers with him on the five-day jaunt, including The Warped 45s, Paso Mino, Joel Stewart, The Beauties, Bryan Arcand and Josh Cockerill.
Rutledge was recently interviewed for The Book Lady, a documentary about Dolly Parton's campaign for children's literacy. The film premiered on Sept. 20 at the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax. CBC-TV, Bravo! and Book Television will air the documentary at a later date.
