Plaskett To Play Secret Show

The Joel Plaskett Emergency will play a secret show in their hometown of Halifax as part of MySpace's Secret Shows series. OK, it's no longer a secret show.
Plaskett and crew will hit the stage at Dalhousie University's Grawood campus bar on Wednesday. The show is free, but admission will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis and is restricted to Dalhousie students, alumni, faculty members and their guests. The show is all ages, but only 120 people under 19 will be let in, and they must be Dalhousie students.
The Joel Plaskett Emergency are still riding on the success of last year's Ashtray Rock. It garnered them six East Coast Music Awards earlier this year and Plaskett received a Juno Award nomination for songwriter of the year.
We think it would be a good idea for Plaskett to release a live box set of material from those six shows he did last December at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern.
