Halifax's
In-Flight Safety will issue their sophomore album,
We Are An Empire, My Dear, on Jan. 27 as the first release on their Night Danger label.
The album was recorded last April in an empty schoolhouse in rural Nova Scotia by producer Laurence Currie (Buck 65, Sloan). You can hear "Amy Racina" and "I Could Love You More" on In-Flight Safety's

Singer/guitarist John Mullane, pianist/guitarist/keyboardist Daniel Ledwell, bassist Brad Goodsell and drummer Glen Nicholson released their
Vacation Land debut EP in 2003 and followed it with their first full-length,
The Coast Is Clear, in 2006. That album earned them Juno and MuchMusic Video Award nominations and three East Coast Music Awards.
In-Flight Safety will embark on a national tour in February, but you can see them here for now:
