Feel Lamb Of God's Wrath

Richmond, Va. metalcore band Lamb Of God will release their fifth studio album, Wrath, on Feb. 24 through Epic Records.
The band took all of this year off to make the album, which was recorded in New York, Virginia and New Hampshire with producer Josh Wilbur. Although a track list hasn't been announced, drummer Chris Adler says fans should get ready to hear something new from the band.
"This album is gong to surprise a lot of people. Typically, bands that get to where we are in our career begin to slack off, smell the roses and regurgitate. We chose a different path. No one wants to hear another band member hyping a new record. Wrath needs no hype. We have topped ourselves, and on February 24th, you will feel it."
Lamb Of God were originally an instrumental band called Burn The Priest when they formed in 1990 before the addition of vocalist Randy Blythe. Their Burn The Priest debut didn't come out until 1999. After they were banned from certain venues because of their name, they changed it to Lamb Of God and released their New American Gospel debut under that name in 2000. Their most recent release is 2006's Sacrament.
Adler and Blythe are joined in the group by guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, and bassist John Campbell.
Lamb Of God will tour in a major way in support of Wrath in the new year. In the meantime, you can catch them at these Canadian shows:

Dec. 4-5 Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome w/Metallica and The Sword
