Amy Winehouse's Hubby Set Free

Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is a free man today after he was released from prison.
Fielder-Civil, 26, had been in jail serving a 27-month sentence for assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice. He was set free after serving 12 months.
Winehouse, who was recently treated at a London, England hospital for a chest infection, wasn't at the prison to meet her husband when he was released and was instead at her home in the London borough of Camden.
Although Winehouse has repeatedly dedicated performances to "Blake, incarcerated" over the last year, it's unclear about whether the singer and her husband will be reunited. The Press Association reports that Fielder-Civil has checked into a drug rehab clinic, as per the conditions of his release.
Fielder-Civil's incarceration might actually have been good for Winehouse, since she has lately been busy recording demos for her upcoming third album. Those demos are apparently so good that they've drawn the praise of Universal Music Group chairman/CEO Lucian Grange, who called them — and songs she's played on acoustic guitar in his office — "sensational."
According to Britain's Telegraph newspaper, Winehouse has recently come under the wing of 75-year-old producer Quincy Jones (Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin), who's "put her back onto the wagon." The two met earlier this year at a concert that Winehouse performed at for Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday.
"The two are collaborating on one or two projects and if anyone in the world can save a talent like Amy then it is 'Q,'" an unnamed friend of Winehouse told the Telegraph. "He helped relaunch Michael Jackson's career with the Thriller album and has been responsible for countless hits over the years.
"He knows that if she can start to get her music career sorted then everything else should fit into place."
Winehouse is also said to be contributing to a Jones tribute album.
