Joe Biden Responsible For Pete Wentz

This just in! Joe Biden is the reason Pete Wentz exists.

Wentz recently told The Associated Press that he wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for U.S. vice-president-elect Joe Biden... and no, it's not what you think.

"I would not be standing here actually in reality at all because my parents met working for Biden," the Obama supporter said to reporters on Tuesday while waiting in line to vote in Beverly Hills, Calif.

"They met on the campaign, so they have this particular affection for Joe. He came to their wedding. If it weren't for Joe Biden, I would not exist as a human being."

In a message on his blog, Wentz let his father, Pete Wentz II (who he says "has a couple degrees and spells much better, besides hes a hero to me"), explain how they met.

"Mom and I met in Washington when we were both legislative assistants to Senator Biden when he was in his first term," his father's message reads. "I had worked in his campaign and your mother had been in the Foreign Service. We started out as friends and the rest is history."

Fall Out Boy's fifth studio album, Folie A Deux, was originally supposed to be released on Nov. 4, but was pushed back to Dec. 16 so as not to clash with the American election.
