Rivers Cuomo's Alone Again

Rivers Cuomo
Some of you may have seen Jen White's blog post about the new Rivers Cuomo solo album, Alone II: The Home Recordings Of Rivers Cuomo, which features some pretty gravity-defying cover art. That cover art will accompany Alone II when it hits stores on Nov. 25 through DGC Records.

The follow-up to last year's Alone: The Home Recordings Of Rivers Cuomo features the Weezer frontman unaccompanied, playing his own compositions and covers of songs by The Beach Boys and Jermaine Dupri that were recorded from 1992 to 2007. When Cuomo released Alone last year, he said he had about an hour's worth of similar material that he might release at a later date. That seems to have come to fruition with Alone II.

Despite rumours that Weezer are already working on a follow-up to this year's Weezer (which is dubbed the Red Album because of its cover), guitarist Brian Bell recently said this isn't the case.

"We're still going to focus on promoting the 'Red' album, and when we have the songs and the time feels right, we'll record [again]," he told Spinner.com.

Here are the songs on Alone II: The Home Recordings Of Rivers Cuomo:

"Victory On The Hill"
"I Want To Take You Home Tonight"
"The Purification Of Water"
"I Was Scared"
"Harvard Blues"
