Although Neil Young's The Archives Vol. 1 (1963-1972) won't come out until next year, Sugar Mountain: Live At Canterbury House 1968 will hit stores on Nov. 25 through Reprise Records.

It was recorded on Nov. 9 and 10, 1968 in Ann Arbor, Mich. It features Young's early solo material, along with songs he wrote as a member of Buffalo Springfield, who he left six months before these performances. Sugar Mountain also features several between-song anecdotes.

Although Sugar Mountain is part of the continuing Neil Young Archive Performance Series, it won't be included as part of the 10-disc Blu-ray and DVD set, The Archives Vol. 1.

Young is in the midst of a North American tour. You can see him with openers Wilco and Everest at these Canadian shows:

Nov. 29 Halifax, NS @ Halifax Metro Centre
Dec. 1 Montreal, QC @ Bell Centre
Dec. 2 Ottawa, ON @ Scotiabank Place
Dec. 4-5 Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre
