October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so it's appropriate that
Katy Perry,
Iggy Pop and members of
Sonic Youth and
Devo are auctioning off breast related products for charity.
Perry made a sculpture of her chest, which is being painted by Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy, her boyfriend. If you want to buy it (we think you're a creep, btw) it will be auctioned in support of Keep A Breast Foundation's youth outreach program starting Nov. 26.
In the meantime, you can trek over to eBay, where Sonic Youth's
Kim Gordon, Iggy Pop and Devo's
Mark Mothersbaugh are
auctioning "breast casts" they painted for the Keep A Breast Foundation. So far, the Gordon and Pop casts are going for single bids of $250 U.S., while the Mothersbaugh cast has two bids and is going for $112.50 U.S.
The Keep A Breast Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to educate young people about breast cancer prevention, early detection and support through art fundraising.
