Around this time last year, Montreal was known for its music scene, which had spawned bands like Arcade Fire and had the world buzzing. This year, it's become known for its
band thefts.
Canadian hardcore act
Comeback Kid are the latest band to be robbed in Montreal. The band parked their van and trailer in a public parking lot outside their hotel in the city last night, only to return and find that they had disappeared. The trailer and van not only contained their gear, but merchandise including copies of their recently released CD/DVD,
Through The Noise.
Luckily, the band have some friends in their tourmates Misery Signals, Bane, Shai Hulud, Out Break and Grave Maker. They've borrowed gear from those bands and are still on tour. None of their upcoming dates have been cancelled. You can still see them with Misery Signals, Shai Hulud, Bane, Outbreak and Grave Maker here:
