Thor Keepin' Dogs Away

Thor will re-release their classic 1974 debut album, Keep The Dogs Away, on Nov. 11.
The album will be released on CD for the first time in celebration of its 30th anniversary, and will come with seven bonus tracks. Keep The Dogs Away got rave reviews from publications like Rolling Stone, Cream and Punk Magazine when it was originally released and is considered a glam rock classic.
Thor namesake Jon Mikl Thor also plans to release a digital album called Steam Clock. He's also producing an album by The Green ELOS called Back To The U.K. and has signed on to produce a clothing and sportswear series to promote the Vancouver Millionaires. Thor owns the team's trademark.
Thor the man grew up wanting to be a superhero and would wear a Superman costume under his clothes to school. He became a champion bodybuilder, winning both Mr. Canada and Mr. USA titles, and later turned to music. Thor the band consist of Thor on vocals, Steve Price and Mike Kischnick on guitars, Paul Falcon on bass and Mike Favata on drums.
Thor will play a CD release show for Keep The Dogs Away on Halloween at Vancouver's Media Club.
