Vancouver hippie rocker Stephen McBean takes turns with his two Mountain themed bands, and while he's been busy lately with Black Mountain, his Pink Mountaintops are returning to the spotlight. Well, at least for one show.
Pink Mountaintops will play on Nov. 7 at Toronto's trendy Drake Hotel (get yourself some Drake juice!). Tickets go on sale on Oct. 23.
The psychedelic collective, fronted by McBean, have released two seven-inch singles and two full-length albums, the last of which is 2006's Axis Of Evol.
McBean's been pretty busy with Black Mountain and their Polaris Music Prize-nominated In The Future. His Black Mountain bandmates have kept busy in the past with their own side projects, including Blood Meridian and Lightning Dust.
