The Kaiser Chiefs' train has been full steam ahead lately, with the decision to forgo a much-needed break to record and release another album, but their next stop might be their last.
Guitarist Andrew "Whitey" White said things aren't slowing down any time soon for the Leeds quintet. The Kaisers expect to be "full on" until next August with tour dates in South America, Japan, North America and Europe in support of their third full-length, Off With Their Heads, which will be released on Oct. 28.
Even though they're only two weeks into touring, White says they're definitely looking forward to their next break.
"Maybe around August, I think we're going to be taking maybe a permanent break," he says. "But we don't know. We haven’t really talked about it; we're not too sure."
The Kaiser Chiefs play Toronto's Mod Club on Nov. 18.
