Oasis ain't exactly "shreddable" material, but regardless, the Manchester band's recently released Dig Out Your Soul will soon be available for download through Guitar Hero World Tour.
As of Nov. 6, you'll be able to download "Bag It Up," "Waiting For The Rapture" and "The Shock Of The Lightning" onto your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. The tracks will be available as a package or individually. You'll be able to download the entire album on Guitar Hero World Tour sometime next year.
Guitar Hero World Tour hits stores on Oct. 26. The new installment in the Guitar Hero series gives you the opportunity to play it anywhere (on a bus, while waiting somewhere or even on the toilet) with a wireless controller, like its Rock Band 2 counterpart. It also features band career modes and battle of the bands modes, which ought to make taking a leak a bit more interesting for some people.
Oasis are back on the road with singer/guitarist Noel Gallagher, who suffered some broken ribs after he was attacked on stage during the Toronto Virgin Festival last month. The band also just announced they'll headline a show at Ireland's Slane Castle on June 20, 2009. Oasis last played there when they opened for R.E.M. in 1995. U2, Queen, The Rolling Stones and Madonna have all previously played Slane Castle.
