TOAD Play Grey Cup

Theory Of A Deadman
You can no longer just associate Theory Of A Deadman with fast cars and gasoline. Now you'll have to associate them with football, too, because they're headlining this year's Grey Cup halftime show.

The band Chart likes to call TOAD ("We prefer 'Theory'," they say) will be supported by singer/songwriter Suzie McNeil and Quebecois singer/songwriter Andree Watters on Nov. 23 during the halftime show at Montreal's Olympic Stadium.

"It's a good honour as a Canadian to be able to do this," bassist Dean Back said during an interview with TSN, who will televise the game.

The CFL regular season finishes on Nov. 1 and Grey Cup playoffs run from Nov. 8 to 15. Previous Grey Cup halftime performers have included Lenny Kravitz, Nelly Furtado, Black Eyed Peas, The Tragically Hip, Bryan Adams, Sam Roberts, Shania Twin and The Guess Who, among others.
