If you loathe winter so much that it makes you want to dress all in black, paint your flesh white and scream at a pitch that's almost too high for humans to hear, (or alternatively, if winter fits your bleak, dark mood) you may be pleased to know that Cradle Of Filth are coming your way in the new year.
The British goth/black/extreme/death/symphonic black/whatever-other-ridiculously-disputed-metal-tag-you-can-think-of band will be touring in support of their upcoming medieval serial killer-filled new album, Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder: The Life And Crimes Of Gilles De Rais, which Roadrunner Records will release on Oct. 28. They'll have Norwegian black metallers Satyricon and Greek symphonic death metallers Septic Flesh in tow when they head across the pond in January and early February.
(Here's a hint for the latter band: If you put some of that good ol' Canadian winter on your rotting skin, it might actually help it heal. Or maybe just use a Bandaid and some peroxide. That works, too.)
You can see Cradle Of Filth, Satyricon and Septic Flesh here:

Jan. 18 Quebec City, QC @ Capitol Theatre
