Chinese Democracy Finally Coming

Guns N' Roses' oft-delayed Chinese Democracy finally has a release date.
The album, which is 15 years in the making, will be available at your local Best Buy (and no other stores in North America) on Nov. 23. The album is coming out on a Sunday as opposed to a Tuesday because Best Buy wants to tie it to its sales schedule, which runs Sunday to Saturday.
In the meantime, Chinese Democracy track "Shackler's Revenge" will debut on the Rock Band 2 video game before the album hits stores, and part of "If The World" will be used in the end credits of the new Leonardo DiCaprio film, Body Of Lies. An official album track list has not yet been confirmed.
As for the guy who allegedly leaked nine demos from Chinese Democracy onto the internet this year, he was arrested by the FBI in August and charged with copyright violation. Kevin Cogill, 27, faces up to three years in prison and $250,000 in fines if he is found guilty.
Most importantly, Tony Jacobs, a vice-president for the Dr. Pepper soda brand, has been quoted as saying, "…if the rumors are true, we're putting the Dr Pepper on ice." The Pepper people vowed earlier this year to give everyone in America a free can of their delicious pop if Chinese Democracy actually got released.
