Pavement's Brighten The Corners Deluxe Reissue

Matador Records reissues a Pavement album every few years. They've done 1992's Slanted And Enchanted, 1994's Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain, 1995's Wowee Zowee and next up is 1997's Brighten The Corners.

Brighten The Corners: Nicene Creedence Ed. is out on Nov. 18. The double-disc package includes a remastered version of the original album along with B-sides, compilation tracks, previously unreleased songs and live material.

If you partake in Matador's Buy Early Get Now option by pre-ordering the set on the label's website, you'll get it in an embossed, die-cut slipcase with a 62-page perfect-bound book and a stream of the album. The label will send you a username and password that will let you stream the album beginning Oct. 10. You'll also get an exclusive, unreleased B-side on Oct. 15 and another bonus track on Nov. 4.

When Matador ships the album on Nov. 18, you'll also receive a vinyl LP that contains Live, which was recorded during the Brighten The Corners tour and was supposed to be issued in 1998, but was shelved. A poster of Stephen Malkmus and company will also be thrown in.
